With Nextdoor’s new app experience for businesses, you can now manage your Nextdoor presence while on-the-go. Conveniently upload photos of your business to bring your business story to life; update your hours of operation and promote links for recommendations, gift cards, pickup, or delivery with the neighbourhood in a matter of minutes.
Easily toggle between your business profile and member profile by following the easy steps below:
Step 1: The app is available for free to all businesses nationwide. Update your existing app if you’re already using the app as a member, or download it from your device’s app store below.
Step 2: From your Mobile App, navigate to the ‘Menu’ tab on the bottom of your screen.
Step 3: At the top of this screen, you’ll see a circular logo with an image. Tap this logo to instantly access your business page.
If you have multiple business profiles, tap the 
Step 4: If you’ve selected the profile toggle, a menu will appear from the bottom of your screen listing each Business Page. Select your desired page or claim a new page.
Step 5: Once you’ve selected the profile you wish to access, you’ll be taken directly to the Business Page view:

Do I need a member profile to have a Business Page?
You do not need a member profile to create a Business Page, however, it is highly recommended. There are benefits to growing your neighbourhood as a member, and having the ability to invite neighbours can ultimately benefit your business by increasing the customers you reach.
Why should I use Nextdoor when I have so many other channels setup already?
Nextdoor allows you to automatically access customers within a close proximity to your shop. We’ve worked hard to build a local audience for you and will continue to do so to help you reach more customers.
What are recommendations?
Neighbours can give recommendations to their favorite local businesses on Nextdoor by tagging a Business Page in a neighbourhood conversation, or writing a recommendation directly on a Business Page. Recommended businesses will appear in the Businesses section that neighbours use to find recommended businesses.
Why do I need recommendations?
Only businesses with at least one recommendation will show in the Businesses section. Within a particular business category, businesses are listed in order of the number of recommendations they have received, so the more recommendations your business has, the higher in the list it will appear.
Tip: The more recommendations you get across different neighbourhoods, the more neighbours will be able to see your Business Page. Additionally, the more recommendations you get in one neighbourhood, the higher you will rank in that neighbourhood’s Businesses section. Learn how neighbours recommend businesses.
